A lot of Manchester United stars were seen going to a dinner to get to know each other better.

Everyone from the first team to the staff got together to talk about Sunday’s FA Cup quarterfinal match against Liverpool.

There, Erik ten Hag, Steve McLaren, and Darren Fletcher competed with Bruno Fernandes, Lisandro Martinez, and Marcus Rashford in terms of style.

The group went to the fancy Ivy Asia restaurant in Manchester, where a wagyu steak costs £62.

The game against Liverpool is the club’s last chance to win a trophy this season, and it will have a big impact on Erik ten Hag’s future.

They are currently sixth in the Premier League, eight points behind Villa in fourth place, and their chances of making it to the Champions League keep getting worse.

After their 3-1 loss to City earlier this month, Ten Hag accepted that his team was not in the running for the top four spots. He said, “It can be an advantage that fifth place can also mean a Champions League spot, so we have to go for it and win our games.”

United had a rough start to the season and finished last in their Champions League group. They also lost to Newcastle in the Carabao Cup.

And Sir Jim Ratcliffe didn’t seem to back Ten Hag up in his first talk with the media after investing in the club.

When asked what would happen with the boss, Ratcliffe said, “I’m not going to say anything about the work he’s done because that would be wrong.”

“Not every coach is to blame.” The only thing that can be said is that the place where they were working didn’t work.

“Erik has been in that setting, and we need to make sure that setting, the organization, and the people who work there are right.” 

“That part has to be done, so I’m not really thinking about the coach. I’m just concentrating on that part.” I have no right to judge that. 

“But during our time in business, we’ve had to make some tough choices.” We’ll just use common sense, look at the facts, and make a fair decision.  

“Our group isn’t mean. But there are times when you have to make choices that people might not like.

United did have a good league game last time out, though. They beat Everton 2-0 at home.

In December, they played Liverpool and held them to a 0-0 draw, which was also a good performance.

They will be hoping that gives them ideas as they try to make it to the semi-finals at Wembley.

Jurgen Klopp’s team, on the other hand, is on track to win four titles. Their record is now 5-1 against Sparta Prague in the first game of their Europa League last-16 matchup. They are also in second place in the Premier League, tied with Arsenal for first place, with the same number of points.
